Abstract

The influence of the growth of Arabica Coffee plants (Coffea arabica. L) from various sources of seeds treated with phosphating. The purpose is to determine the growth of arabica coffee plants from various seed sources that are treated with phosphating. The research was carried out on the experimental land (UNITA) silangit Pariksabungan Village, Siborongborong District, North Tapanuli Regency with an altitude of ± 1400 meters above sea level. This study is planned to take place in June – September 2022.This study uses a Factorial Group Randomized Design (RAK), with two treatment factors, namely: The first treatment consisted of 4 sources of Arabica seeds, namely: B1 = Seeds from Sipirok, B2 = Seeds from Taput, B3 = Seeds from Humbahas and B4 = Seeds from Dairi. The second treatment consists of applying a dose of Phosphating fertilizer (SP 36) 4 levels with symbols, namely: ,P0= Without fertilizer (control), P1= 20 gr per plant, P2= 25 gr per plant and P3= 30 gr per plantThus, 16 treatment combinations were obtained and from each pe . The parameters observed are: Increase in Plant Height (cm), Increase in Number of Leaves (strands), Increase in stem diameter (mm), Leaf area (mm) and Number of Branch Shoots.The treatment of the source of origin of seedlings and phosphating treatment is very evident in the Increase in Plant Height (cm), Increase in the Number of Leaves (strands), Increase in stem diameter (mm), Leaf area (mm), and Number of Branch Shoots. The best treatment combination for arabica coffee plants is B4P3 (Asal Dairi and 30 gr per plant).
