Abstract

The Effect of Giving Bamboo Root Extract (PGPR) and Duck Manure to the Growth of Arabica Coffee Seeds (Coffea Arabica L). Was held at the University of Sisingamangaraja XII, Silangit Tapanuli Utara. The altitude of the place is ± 1400 M above sea level. This study aims to determine the effect of giving Bamboo Root Extract (Pgpr) and Duck Manure to the Growth of Arabica Coffee Seeds (Coffea Arabica L). This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 2 treatment factors, namely: Factor I: Bamboo Root PGPR Concentration (P), which consisted of 3 levels, namely: P0: No treatment, P1: 15 ml / water, P2: 20 ml/l water, P3 : 25 ml/l water. Factor II: Comparison of Duck Manure (B), which consists of 4 levels, namely: B0: No treatment, B1 :100 g/plant, B2 :150 g/plant, B3 :200 g/plant. Thus, 12 treatment combinations were obtained and each treatment was repeated 3 times. Parameters observed were: plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), stem diameter (cm), leaf area (cm), root length (cm). The treatment of Duck Manure and PGPR was very significant for all parameters. The growth of coffee plant seeds on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, leaf area, and root length was best in P3B3 (25 ml/l water and 200 g/plant.
