Abstract

Effect of seedling height and organonitrofos organic fertilizer on seedling growth Arabica (Coffea arabica. L). The research objective was to determine the effect of seedling height and the application of organonitrofos organic fertilizer on the vegetative growth of Arabica coffee seedlings. The research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sisingamangaraja XII Tapanuli University at an altitude of ± 1,400 m above sea level. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of two factors treatment, namely the first factor is the influence of seedling height (T), which consists of 3 levels, namely: T1 = 3 cm seedling height, T2 = 5 cm seedling height, T3 = 7 cm seedling height and the second is the effect of organic fertilizer administration, Organonitrofos (M) with 4 levels treatments, namely M0: 0 g/polybag (without treatment), M1: 100 g/polybag, M2: 200g/polybag and M3: 300g/polybag. Data were processed with factorial shelving and continued at DMRT level of 5% and regression test using Excel software. The treatment of seedling height and organonitrophos fertilizer was very significant in the parameters of Plant Height Gain (cm), Increase in Number of Leaves (strands), Increase in Stem Diameter (mm), Overall plant weight (gr), Root Length and Root wet weight (gr).
